Pike County farmers and business owners who suffered losses from this year’s harsh weather and floods can now apply for federal assistance.
Non-farm businesses owners can contact the U.S. Small Business Administration for low-interest disaster loans by calling 1-800-877-8339. There is also information at the SBA website, which is www.sba.gov/services/disasterassistance.
The business assistance is for losses incurred from Feb. 1 through July 15.
